Questions lawyers ask

Joining is free. If we introduce pricing later, it will be a flat platform fee with optional add-ons, announced at least 30 days in advance — never per-case fees, and never a share of your fees (§ 49b BRAO). Lawyers who join early keep preferential terms permanently.

Only this: for cases you choose to take, you offer the client a free first call of 15–30 minutes and get in touch promptly. Everything after that — scope, fees, the mandate — is entirely between you and the client. You can leave at any time, without notice.

That's why we're built the way we are. Klarlaw is not a law firm and renders no legal services; we operate a matching platform. We take no share of legal fees and charge nothing per case — any future pricing is a flat fee independent of individual mandates. Conflict checks, engagement scope, fee agreements and Verschwiegenheit remain entirely yours. You'll receive the full participation terms before you activate anything.

The platform, the database and email delivery all run in Frankfurt (AWS eu-central-1). Where we use AI to summarize a matter, it is processed within the EU, receives no client-identifying data, and is never used to train models. Case access is personal to you, and cases another lawyer has taken are closed to everyone else.

It depends on your practice area and city — and, honestly, on lawyers like you. This is a flywheel: we only push client acquisition where we have lawyers ready to answer, so every lawyer who joins opens up more demand. We'd rather under-promise than sell you a number.
